Philip began taking photos at the age of thirteen when his uncle gave him his first 35mm camera. Throughout high school and college Philip pursued photography more as a hobby then a profession. Having spent many years working as a technology consultant and engineer, he always seems to find his way back to photography.

In 2002, Philip turned his passion into a business and began working professionally as a freelance photographer, always looking for assignments that would challenge his creativity.

He has been referred to as a modern day renaissance man since he uses his technical abilities and expertise and applies them to creative pursuits, whether photographing people or building custom furniture…or even creating daring videos.

Philip credits his unique skills to being the son of a doctor and artist, which has played a powerful role in establishing his blend of the creative and technical.
